Community Event – Evening Party – Kinglassie – March 2024
This year we chose Debbie Abbott to provide the evening entertainment for our well-established annual community event and asked her to sing two sets of 45-60 minutes each. She turned up well in advance to fit in around our plans, started and finished singing exactly on time and gave us a couple of extra bonus songs at the end. Debbie has a terrific voice - smooth at times, powerful at others, with clear diction - and the audience of 115 loved every minute. We left the playlist to Debbie with only general guidance only towards 60’s and 70’s music and her song choice was pitched just right for the audience. She asked for and was given a few requests on the night that went down exceptionally well, especially one for a couple who were celebrating their golden wedding anniversary. Both Debbie and her husband Peter were very easy to get along with and friendly giving us exactly the vibe we needed for our audience. The sound equipment they brought was amazing allowing Debbie to demonstrate her remarkable vocal talents to the full. Ours is quite a large hall and her voice was clear across the whole area. The audience were truly appreciative of Debbie’s voice and character as can be witnessed by the amount of people crowding the dance floor at times and the many positive comments we have received on Kinglassie Facebook pages. We have already had several requests to ask her to come back again next year.

Wedding Evening Party – Spean Bridge – March 2024
We booked Debbie for our Wedding Celebration and it was an epic night! Debbie was great - we had only given her vague timings for our order of events and she was very accommodating and good with setting up around our plans that evening. Debbie did an excellent job of our first dance song and for the duration of her 3 sets she had everyone up dancing and her singing was just great - quality of singing, set up and choice of songs. 5/5 stars (10 / 10)!

50th Birthday Party – Broughty Ferry near Dundee 2023
Debbie and Fernando were an absolute game-changer for our event as they added a professionalism while helping create a star-quality atmosphere. The setlist and quality of equipment were first class but the difference maker was Debbie's voice and range - even given the variety of music, she made every song her own and wowed us as an audience. Debbie was also a lovely person and easy to make and alter arrangements with.

Durn House Portsoy Wedding 2021
Debbie and Fernando played at our wedding and they were truly amazing. Debbie has such a beautiful voice and Fernando adds something special to the duo. They have a wide selection of songs spanning over 60’s to current day songs. The age group at our wedding was from teenagers to 80 years old and everyone loved them. We were on the floor the whole night. We were especially delighted that they learnt our first dance which was ‘A Man’s a Man for a’ that’ and were able to perform it in the style of Paola Nutini which is what we had asked for. They knocked the ball out the park in their performance. I can’t thank them enough for such an enjoyable night.

Debbie and Fernando performed at our café restaurant in Perth. Their choice of setlist was a particular advantage and created a friendly melodic atmosphere that really entertained our customers. Throughout their set, they were professional while at the same time being warm and welcoming to new arrivals. I would highly recommend this acoustic act for events and functions.

We were fortunate to have the duo Debbie and Fernando playing at this venue one night. They are a lively and engaging duo with a fantastic singer and a great guitarist with a great mix of their own cover arrangements of modern and classic songs and they were a real pleasure to listen to. I would recommend them for anyone looking for an upbeat and engaging acoustic duo to hire for their own private event or public performance.

Highland Wedding – Evening Party – March 2024
We have finally got back after our son’s wedding in the Scottish Highlands and now have time to thank those people who made it so special. It was the opposite of the big white wedding but just what Andrew and Amy wanted. They were very late in booking you for the event but it worked out brilliantly! It proves you don’t need a posh hotel or venue for the day, just special people there to make it work. You were one of those special people and your evening performance rounded off a brilliant day. We also appreciated the distance you had to travel from Dundee, especially the journey home. Thanks Debbie for being a big part of our special day, we will always remember you.

Two Charity Evenings – Blairmore Farm near Crieff - 2023
The national charity “Make 2nds Count” booked Debbie for entertainment on the final nights of our two Scottish retreats for secondary breast cancer patients at Blairmore Farm in the heart of the Perthshire Countryside. Debbie was brilliant! The set up was seamless and the choice of music was fabulous. All eras and tastes were covered. We had lots of comments from our guests both weeks about how great Debbie was and we won't hesitate to book Debbie again when we return next year. It was clear that our charity and cause was close to Debbie's heart so thank you for helping us make our retreats so special.

60th Birthday Party – Stonehaven Golf Club 2023

Malmaison Hotel Dundee 2018
I booked Debbie Abbott as a singer to perform at my birthday party for around 70 guests in the main function suite at the Malmaison hotel in Dundee. Debbie performed two full sets of songs throughout the evening, from 60s through to current, including R&B, Pop, rock, country, and blues. Debbie has a great voice and a huge repertoire and sounded amazing; she delivered an outstanding professional performance which went down very well with the audience. Great choice....
